My team and I invite you to enjoy our friendly and relaxing dental office. We strive to do everything we can to make you feel at home and at ease while receiving dental treatment. We spend time answering your questions and then explaining your treatment needs. Whether your last dental visit was 6 months ago, or 30 years ago, we will welcome you with open arms. Our goal is to get you smiling. And if there is anything I can do to improve your experience here, please just ask me!
-Dr. Ann Coambs
I lived all over the U.S. while growing up, most frequently landing in Nebraska and Texas. I completed college at Rice University and dental school at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, TX. Finally, I came to Charlotte to complete my residency training at CMC Hospital. I fell in love with the Queen City during that year, and my husband and I decided to permanently relocate to North Carolina. Awesome decision!
Soon after I opened my dental office in 2012, I earned the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (a.k.a. FAGD designation), signifying my commitment to continuing education. Only 6% of general dentists have earned this honor! I've also received a Charlotte Top Dentist award in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Outside of the office, I enjoy kickboxing at 9Round, eating good food, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with friends. But most of all, I love spending time with my three wonderful sons, my husband, and my extended family. They are my joy!
llo, my name is Candy. I began my dental career in 2000 as an orthodontic assistant in the mountains of Asheville, NC. I started working in general dentistry in 2007, transitioned to the administrative side, and found my niche in the front office. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with patients and families, and hearing their amazing stories from visit to visit! I am so thrilled to be in an office with ladies who all share the same philosophy of exceptional patient care. I look forward to greeting every patient with a friendly smile at the front office and I am excited to answer any questions!
Outside of Imagine Dentistry, I am enjoying Charlotte as my new home. I enjoy walking and training for long distance events. I am also a "Blanketeer" with the non-profit organization, Project Linus. To contribute, I sew handmade blankets for children in need. I have two little Boston Terriers, Tasty and Baxter, that we refer to as "soccer balls" with their black and white coloring! My three children, Barry, Garren, and Carrie Ann, are all in their 20s and I couldn't be more proud of them. I love living close to them here in Charlotte. The most fun part of my life is that I get to be a grandma to my 1-year-old grandson, Emmett, here in Charlotte.
When I am not with the Imagine family, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and our families. My husband and I are native to Union County -- we realize we are a rarity! Our daughter Nichole just started high school and she is the joy of our life. Our family also includes 2 chihuahuas, a yorkie-poo, and 2 barn cats. We enjoying taking our camper to the beach or mountains as often as possible. I enjoy photography and you can usually find me with some sort of camera in my hand. In 2016 I set a goal to run/walk the Cooper River Bridge Run in 2017, I am happy to say I accomplished that goal on April 1st, 2017. I have caught the running fever and I'm looking forward to my next race!
Hi, my name is Asia! I grew up in White Plains, New York. I moved from New York to Georgia, and finally landed in North Carolina in 2009. I like being a dental assistant because I like being able to help patients get their smile and confidence back. I like to travel, and I love spending time with my family every chance that I get. My sister and I are best friends - we are two years apart and do everything together! I love kids, and putting smiles on their faces. I'm very outgoing, willing to learn, and always smiling. I can't wait to build a relationship with each and every one of you!
